GIA Mission Statement
The purpose of Guangzhou Indian Association is to connect and promote social and cultural exchange between the Indian and Chinese community living in Guangzhou, China. We conduct and cooperate through seminars, conferences, meetings, and charitable contributions in the spirit of mutual understanding and friendship. All our activities shall be non-political and non-profit. GIA membership shall be extended to all the Indian and Chinese community members holding an Indian passport or any non-Indian passport. However we would require a proof of citizenship.

- GIA Opening Party August 12th, 2011
- The wait for all the Indians living in Guangzhou is over. Here we go… We are going to formally launch GIA on Aug 14th 2011 at the Punjabi Restaurant, near Garden Hotel, Guangzhou. It will be attended by several distinguished guests and all the registered members of GIA. - Welcome to our new GIA interactive website, freshly built with the intention to provide the best. The time is right as winter is approaching and we bid goodbye to summer. This will help the whole community to keep in touch with each other no matter what time and where they are. We hope that everyone will take advantage of our new message board feature where we can share experiences and discuss our lives here in Guangzhou.
